Bratislava Milan Rastislav Štefánik Airport (BTS) is Slovakia's largest airport, located just 9 km from the centre of Bratislava. Thanks to its convenient location and extensive network of connections, especially to popular European cities, it is a popular choice for passengers from across the region, including Poland, Austria and Hungary. It is also a great alternative to the more crowded Vienna Airport.

Getting to the airport
- By car: quick access from the centre of Bratislava and the D1 motorway. From other cities – convenient access from Poland (via Žilina) and Austria (via Vienna).
- Public transport: city buses no. 61 (from the main station) and 96, running throughout the day and night.
- International buses: direct connections from Vienna, Budapest and Prague, among others.
- Taxis and transfers: available directly at the terminal. The average cost of a trip to the centre of Bratislava is approx. 25–30 EUR.
